About ME

Irena Vazhenin is Certified and has been a GA Licensed Neuromuscular Therapist for over 20 years; a Russian Trained Physical Therapist; and Traditional Ayurvedic Clinician/ Practitioner since 2012. Irena is trained in Neuromuscular, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Points, Sports, Pregnancy, Reflexology, Lymphatic Drainage, Hot Stone, Cuppings and Medical Massage. Irena uses a variety of integrative methods and individualized approaches for each client to reduce pain and reach a deeper state of well being. She believes that "health is not an absence of a disease —  health is a balance of body, mind and spirit." Irena truly believes that regular bodywork and massage are able to prevent disease and maintain your health balance. She is also trained as an Ayurvedic Practitioner and in the process of completing the Doctoral Program in Ayurveda from Kerala Ayurveda Academy. She offers Ayurvedic life-style assessments and consultations as well as Ayurvedic treatments. Irena is passionate about yoga, meditation and swimming. She competes as a Master Swimmer in US and International Competitions.
